Phil Dooley is an Australian freelance writer, presenter, videomaker, trainer and musician. He has a PhD in laser physics and has written for Nature, New Scientist and Cosmos Magazine. He’s worked for the JET fusion experiment and performed in science shows and festivals from Adelaide to Glasgow. He runs science pub nights and a YouTube channel (Phil Up On Science) and is part of the science theatre collaboration Dramatis Scientificae.
